Please note: It is unlawful to leave an animal at the steps of our adoption center. As you know, the Humane Society of Forsyth County is a No Kill shelter and we want to help all dogs and cats in need.

Adoption Hours:

Dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are available for adoption daily.

Monday to Friday 2 - 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday 12-3 pm

Adoptions on the weekends at PetSmart

Dog adoptions will be the first and third Saturday of the month from 11-3pm and the first and third Sunday of the month from 11-3pm. Cats will also have adoptions on first and third Sunday from 11-3pm at our "Adoption Days" where HSFC pets are transported to the PetSmart located in Cumming, Ga. in hopes of finding good, loving, and permanent homes!
