On June 4, 2006, a painting project took place to brighten the Adoption Center. Volunteers converged on the Adoption Center to paint the cat rooms and the office area. Georgia Interiors, Inc. of Cumming, Georgia, donated all the Benjamin Moore paint. (Pictures will be added soon)
We are very EXCITED to announce that we received a cash donation of $4,015 from Harry's Farmers Market for the 5% Day that was held on Tuesday, May 23rd. THANK YOU to ALL of you for your participation, support, and telling all of your friends!!! We also want to thank Marcea Cazel, Marketing Team Leader for Harry's and all of the management at Harry's for selecting us and their generous contribution!! During 2006, Kroger stores of Forsyth County are supporting the Humane Society of Forsyth County in many ways: Providing the funding for a new storage shed. Placing "piggy" banks in the Forsyth County stores to collect change from generous donors already in the store. Playing host for Saturday pet-adoptions.
